thesis Relocation of an artist community in Stuttgart, from Waggons am Nordbahnhof to Zuffenhausen.

Scenography project. The materials chosen are a transposition of the main metaphor of the play, human’s fragility in front of life’s challanges. Therefore, the box - the decor of the drama - is made out of fragile triangles (white fabric between white painted wooden frames) and manipulated by iron cables, all inside a strong metal structure - the outside world.

Restoration project The Chimica Arenella Factory in Palermo was built at the beginning of the 20th century and has been preserved until today as a protected monument. This project proposes to restore the former factory and convert it into an exhibition space.

The site is located in a protected area of Bucharest, among buildings belonging to various periods and various architectural styles. The area is situated between the historical centre of Bucharest and the North Train Station. The character of the area is mostly residential, but also includes an universitary campus and 3 high-schools.

The brief was to mark out the value of a notable site in Bucharest. What would a notable site mean? The island I decided to analyze separates two distinctive, contrasting areas: on the east side, a park which hosts one of the oldest and historical monasteries in Bucharest; while in the west side, a poor neighbourhood, alienated from the city, by infrastructural and cultural issues.
